Dr. Erik Hegmann

Dr. Hegmann is a respected physician who focuses on Cosmetic and Laser Medicine at his Kanata office. His friendly, professional approach has made him a favourite with patients and has helped him develop a thriving practice.

He performs all injections of Botox and filler products himself, and his gentle, meticulous manner has helped to make him one of the leading injectors of Botox in the Ottawa area.

He is on-site at all times, supervising the treatments performed by his medical aestheticians.

Clients appreciate how he takes the time to really listen to them and answer all of their questions, making sure they are comfortable and confident with their treatment before they proceed.

Dr. Hegmann researches all products and treatments himself before bringing them to his Clinic.  In this new and evolving field, Dr. Hegmann takes a conservative approach towards new treatments, waiting until they are clinically proven to be safe and effective before offering them to his clients.

Dr. Hegmann completed a Masters of Science, specializing in cancer research, at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Facility in Toronto.  During this time, he published articles and traveled extensively to present his research findings.  He then enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine at the Unversity of Toronto, where he graduated with Honours in 1998.

Dr. Hegmann is a member of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine (CAAM) and the American Society fo Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS)
