Smoothing and tightening the skin on the face, abdomen, upper arms, and other areas can be accomplished with the latest infrared light technology.

The Kanata Skin Clinic uses the Palomar StarLux® System with the LuxIR Fractional™ Infrared Handpiece to provide safe and comfortable skin tightening treatments. This system delivers an array of small, infrared light beams deep into the dermis to heat selected portions of the skin. The heat causes soft tissue to coagulate and stimulates the collagen in unaffected tissue to remodel. The remodeled collagen results in an overall tighter skin.

This treatment is much safer and more comfortable than bulk heating approaches available with other systems because it leaves much of the skin unaffected by the light pulses. And it uses a three-stage cooling process that cools the skin before, during and after each light pulse.

As a result, you’ll feel little discomfort during treatment, you’re skin will be smoother and tighter, and you will require little or no downtime after treatment.

All skin tightening treatments are scheduled based on your skin type and desired results. The appropriate approach for your skin will be determined during your initial consultation.
